Flexx Advice

* Flexx highly recommends closing and tying your umbrella when not in use or in adverse weather.

* Consider purchasing and Umbrella Base that is at least 40 pounds. The heavier the base the less likely your umbrella is to tip over in windy conditions.

 FLEXX FABRICS:

POLYESTERS: 

Flexx Polyesters are tested for up to 300 hours of UV (ultra violet) protection and carry a light top coat of color fast protection.

SOLAR by Richloom: 

Flexx offers Richloom Solarium. These fabrics provide 1,200 hours of UV protection and are made using a 100% solution dyed Olefin. Flexx offers an arrray of vibrant colors to choose from.

SUNBRELLA: 

Glen Ravens Sunbrella fabrics offer a 5 year warranty against mildew, staining and fading and are made using a 100% solution dyed Acrylic with 1,500 hours of UV protection.

* In addition to the fabric when making your umbrella purchase, consider the aluminum interior pole wall thickness. The Industry standard for most umbrellas is 1.0mm. NEW for 2012, Flexx offers a 1.2mm standard on all models. This feature makes the pole less likely to collapse or bend under heavy winds.
